Riley never had any intention of joining the ranks of Paragon City's heroes so when her mutation developed she, ironically enough, put it to the back of her mind, content to live on as any normal teenager. That was until a mugger jumped her when heading home from work one night. Brandishing a knife her assailiant lunged at her, apparently not wanting to deal with a witness or resistance. Riley screamed at him to stop, and for the first time used her powers in earnest, not just as a novelty, and the man dropped. Comatose. Now enlisted with Invictus Academy Riley hopes to learn to control her powers and put them to good use.
