History
Early life, and the Pandora Project
Waclaw Kritchinksky was born in the White Plains district of Paragon City in 1988, the only child of Stefan and Maria Kritchinksky.
His mutation manifested itself in 2003, when Waclaw hit puberty, as he started to emit dangerous levels of radioactivity. His parents were approached by the scientists of the Pandora Project, who created a special suit of body armor for him, in exchange for letting them study the boy. Waclaw stayed as an in-patient until the attack on the Project's headquarters during Paragon City's 'Power Crash' on May 21st, 2005.
Hero Corps and The Victoria Landsfeld Foundation
After the destruction of the Pandora Project, Waclaw decided to stay in Paragon City and fight the criminal elements plaguing the city under the name of Kreetch (his high-school nickname). He briefly joined Hero Corps (Founder Falls' Branch) between 2020 and 2021.
During that period, scientists working for the Victoria Landsfeld Foundation were able to neutralize Waclaw's excess radioactivity, rendering him harmless to others as long as he spent a period of time each day inside his power armor to drain any accumulation.
He is now doing odd jobs for the Foundation, including serving as bodyguard to Jenny Herder's ward Mo'nique.
Personality
Waclaw is very protective of his teammates and of the people close to him, to the point of over-protectiveness. He has been known to neglect his own safety in order to safeguard others.
Having been confined to a protective suit most of his adult life, he has exhibited self-image issues and bouts of depression.
Abilities
Waclaw's unique mutation has transformed him into a sentient nuclear reactor.
Equipment
Waclaw's blue-and-gold armor is powered by his body's natural radioactivity and highly efficient solar panels on the armor's shoulder pads. In addition to keeping his radioactivity in check, this armor increases Waclaw's strength and durability to meta-human levels and enables him to fly.
As some people have mistakenly assumed, Kreetch is not affiliated with Crey Industries or its "Paragon Protectors", despite the similarity of his power armor's color scheme.
