Bella's Blake's recent history has been one of ups and downs.
Landing an internship after just one year of college, after all, is good. Landing one at a company as prestigious as Crey is even better. And landing one at a top-secret, state of the art Crey facility located on a beautiful Caribbean island? Well, rumors about the company aside, that's just amazing! And for a while? It was actually pretty great! After all, reckless and amoral as they tend to be, even Crey wasn't about to put a young intern on anything TOO crazy... and even a company of their stature isn't immune to the realities of the current labor market, to the need to attract top talent, making the experience quite a blast for their select group of interns.
On the other hand, having the robots running the vast top-secret complex you're interning at go rogue? That's bad. Being left behind when the last chopper evacuates? Even worse. And when the remaining survivors are nearly all slaughtered by the robots and then by the bombs dropped to clean up the whole mess? That's just not good at all.
But somehow, in a small void in the rubble, Bella survived... An arm short and utterly alone, the once-idealistic young student had to learn new skills, to push herself to the very limit to stay alive alone on the forgotten island, and eventually to salvage enough of the destroyed tech to recover and make her way off that rock. Now, over a year later, Belle is back - living in hiding on the islands with a fairly impressive stash of salvaged Crey tech, plotting to get her life back and make Crey pay...
