Sitter
Character Information
Former Lieutenant Junior Grade Michele "Mike" Sutter was a Navy corpswoman assigned to a US Marine Corps unit (1st Battalion, 5th Marines). After her 2nd tour of duty, she left the Corps and took a job with the Victoria Landsfeld Foundation as a "recovery coach."
Her nickname in the military was "Babysitter," or just "'Sitter," because she would fret over every unit member, wounded or not.
History
Project: Amazon
Near the end of the second tour of duty, Sutter was coaxed into volunteering for an off-the-books project called "Project: Amazon." Over the course of 11 months, she underwent medical procedures aimed at augmenting her skin density and bone structure, and her healing processes were enhanced.
Out of six volunteers, Sutter was the only one to survive the procedures. The Project was abandoned, and when it came to light, Sutter agreed to testify against those responsible, General Underwood and Radcliffe.
Her military career over, she was approached by representatives of the Victoria Landsfeld Foundation and offered a job as a "recovery coach", dealing primarily with meta- or enhanced humans.
Abilities
The Project made Sutter stronger, faster, and capable of more exertion before getting tired. It also came with some drawbacks: loss of color perception ("color blindness") and a significant loss of hearing, requiring the use of cochlear implants.
Relationships
She is the grand-niece of Rear Admiral Theodore H. Sutter.
She is in a relationship with Madeleine Comète.
