Overview
A young practitioner of Necromancy that refuses to align herself with anyone. After dropping out of medical school and evading her controlling parents, she has taken up necromancy as a means to practice her passion without the expectations of university or employment. She dreams of one day revolutionizing society with the labor and convenience that widespread, ethically practiced necromancy and fleshcrafting can provide.
Due to her slow-to-trust fast-to-forsake nature, Maggie is quick to judge and slow to accept. She is known to comment readily on one's words, status, or appearance, with little apparent concern for how they might feel about it. Whether or not this is intentional remains to be proven, but it gets her in trouble quite often. Those who get to know her well will find that she has a soft interior hidden by a veneer of hostility and disingenuous rhetoric.
She is known to hide in plain sight or awkwardly, suddenly disappear from conversations or situations, only to appear later on from the shadows to rejoin the activity awkwardly. She hates being touched, and having hands laid on her without her permission will often lead to her having a panic attack or causing a scene.
Maggie finds little comfort in the living, and possibly all too much in the dead. She can generally be found hanging around dark places, like graveyards or those Hot Topic stores in the awkward, inaccessible corner of the mall that you're scared of.
Looks
Maggie stands short. Her body is frail and petite, thin and almost malnourished (though not dangerously so, it appears). Her body is not curvy or thick in any way, sporting a more lithe and neutral figure.
Her features are not what one would call conventionally attractive. Her face is dominated by an oversized, rounded nose and dotted with a gaudy beauty spot on the left side of her face, right above her lip. In an effort to detract from her unattractive self-perception, she wears many piercings, including a ring through her septum, two studs below her lips, a studder bar through the bridge of her nose and one through her brow, and a multitude of studs, gems, rings, and chains on her elf-like ears. She usually wears thick, dark lipstick and eyeliner to highlight her features. Her long hair flows behind her in a wispy black purple-dyed stream. She wears a pair of large, thick green lenses that glint in the moonlight.
She does not seem to receive sustenance from normal food and often hides to eat, raising questions about her diet.
Maggie is often accompanied by a contingent of lethargic hooded figures, some of which sometimes go and run errands for her. At most one might see four of them rushing around her or twirling and posing about, portraying her emotions and suppressed thoughts through nonverbal action. This troupe is named, and Margaret seems to dote on them.
