Biography
Former forensic photographer Ema Kovač became an Awakened Division asset following a containment incident in King’s Row. While documenting the site of an illegal quantum experiment, Kovač encountered the photonic lifeform Halo Everlasting, a Kheldian displaced from the Cygnus Constellation by a failed wormhole event. During the investigation, both parties were ambushed by Nictus forces and merged under duress, resulting in the stable fusion now known as Luminous Blue.
Following successful neutralization of the Nictus cell, Luminous Blue was inducted into the Awakened Division at the rank of Sergeant. Service records cite exceptional field performance and consistent cooperation with interdepartmental operations. Kovač later resigned from the force citing “philosophical differences” with command policy, but continues to offer freelance assistance on sanctioned cases. Subject maintains amicable ties with active personnel and remains listed as an approved consultant under the FBSA.

Energy Manipulation

PPD affiliated Luminous Blue joined Hero Corps operatives Mercy By Night, Minor Deception, Glass Eye, and squad lead Impervium Scion to investigate the disappearance of a young girl in Founder’s Falls. Search efforts uncovered a Council/Fifth Column internal conflict tied to a developing Nictus extraction program. Intelligence confirms the plot aimed to exploit newborn Kheldians, using prototype tech designed to forcibly separate the symbiotes from their hosts to strengthen Fifth Column command identity. High-level liaison Sunstorm provided strategic assistance once Nictus signatures were verified. Primary hostile was Arakhn, identified as architect of the extraction network and commanding Nictus assets in the area. Subject Arakhn was neutralized by the team. Missing juvenile recovered unharmed. Further analysis and containment recommended through Vanguard and D.A.T.A. channels.
