Many titles and accolades follow her, but Alyssa has never desired fame nor power (and she has an unusually rare and extremely strong connection to the magical energies of the world). She has always had a good heart and strives to do the right thing, but has been reluctant towards accepting her supposed destiny as being some sort of heroic savior to that would die to save the world. Eventually personal losses of those she loved from her inaction will compel her to rise up and be the leader the world needed -- and ever since she's been the heroic model every leader of Xzianthia since has strived to live up to. Alyssa after her duel with Empress Kali Q'Uzixola disappeared history and was presumed dead. She returned from an out-of-phase stasis to find millenia had passed; and to find she's not only viewed as a savior of Xzianthia and a founder of the Federation of Xzianthia, but is even revered and worshiped as a central figure in a religion in her name -- something she's very uncomfortable with.
