On a backpacking trip six years ago, grad student Addison King slipped off a ledge in what should have been a fatal fall. Instead, she was saved from death by an entity of hope. The being, which called itself 'Aura', explained to Addison that it was seeking a champion on this plane to inspire and protect others. Aura bestowed on Addison a five piece set of regalia infused with their power. When wearing the Regalia, Addison has demigod-level powers based in hope, light, and beauty, which she uses as best she can to be a force of good in the world.
