Background

Medical career

Previously a distinguished hematologist, Pritchard was convicted in 2002 of multiple crimes relating to the study, treatment, and attempted revival of Jane-Mallory Foster, a MAGI researcher afflicted with an unknown bloodborne illness. Pritchard's criminal conviction resulted in the revocation of his medical license. Pritchard served less than a year of his twenty-year prison sentence, having been released on a special parole issued by the FBSA.
