Overview
- "When her fire rises, shadows dance to her will. Her flames are not chaos - they're command." Selene Maren wasn't born with fire - she earned it.
History
- A graduate researcher at Paragon University's School of Thaumaturgy, Selene specialized in ritual-based magic from the First Age of Cimerora. Her team unearthed a half-burned scroll that described The Ember Rite - a lost ceremony said to bind the essence of flame to a mortal soul, granting them control over the "Primordial Flame," the spark from which all life - and destruction - began.
- But the rite was incomplete.
- And Selene performed it anyway.
- When the spell was cast, she didn't just summon fire - she merged with it. The explosion leveled the lab. Two of her colleagues were injured. And when the smoke cleared, Selene stood in the center of a perfect circle of ash - her body burning with magic that did not consume her.

RP Hooks
Chocolate:Loves chocolate, but not white chocolate. White chocolate WISHES it was chocolate. Pastries are the best and she feels blessed to have been taught to make donuts on the job. She's set for life.
Anime and JRPG MMO:Hentai, Isekai, Shojo, Slice of Life, and...okay all of it. If it has tentacles, it shoots to the top! JRPG MMO is just codespeak for FFXIV. She's played some retro games of Steam, specifically the Grandia series.
Gardening:She has a small spot in the community garden in her neighborhood, and she has an overloaded apartment balcony. At least she can grow a crapload of fresh herbs at home.
Animal Lover:She's the one that keeps feeding strays in the neighborhood. To say she has a future as a crazy cat lady isn't too far off the mark.
