The can of spray paint clattered against the concrete, clinking merrily until it rolled up against the curb. The young woman drifted back and admired her work, a large upturned middle finger with a letter on each knuckle spelling out "Beat", her moniker. She considered it a vast improvement over the sloppily done crossbones with the word "Skuls" scribbled under it in uneven splotches. She began to reach into her duffel when the sound of a panicked shout cut through her headphones. Slipping them to the side she waved her hand toward her ear, drawing the noise in, and sighed.
