As an undefeated marvel within the world of prize-fighting, Greek-American Andreas Lykos was famous for a fighting style as blunt and direct as he was.

One day, Andreas was brought to a Family meeting within the Rogue Isles to throw a high-stakes bout, but the man refused and instead beat his opponent down hard, as a way of sending a message. He wasn't aware of any changes until he was suddenly kidnapped from his home a week later! For his transgressions, Andreas was thrown into a pit, naked and afraid, forced to fight to the death against a pack of domesticated wolves, horribly mutated and swollen with muscle, due to the sheer amount of Superadine pumped through their veins.

The battle was meant to be a public execution. And yet...

Instead of dying, the Dyne-infused blood and saliva contaminated his bloodstream, violently altering his DNA until he transformed into something brutal; Something bigger, faster, and stronger than before; Something that no crime syndicate could ever try to control. After destroying everything in his path, Andreas went into hiding for an indefinite amount of time.

There were many speculative rumors that the mutant who now goes by the name 'Ogre-Wolf' came into contact with a representative working for a benevolent organization of Paragon City to officially register as a hero-in-training. In his mind, however, the motivation to return to civilization was two-fold -- The first was to find his true calling alongside mutants like himself, and the second was the satisfaction of wreaking bloody vengeance against those who would dare use people as playthings for their own ends.

REPTILIAN PHYSIOLOGY: While transformed, Rex possess superhuman strength and is highly resistant to injury due to his thick scaly hide, allowing him to resist punctures and lacerations from bladed weapons and gunfire from low-caliber firearms. In addition, Dino possesses a powerful regenerative healing factor which allow him to quickly recover from grievous wounds, including even regenerating lost limbs. He also possesses razor-sharp teeth and claws, as well as a powerful tail that he can whip at high speeds.

SURVIVAL SKILLS: In his human form, Rex possesses no superhuman physical powers, but thanks to the years he spent in the wilds of The Timeless Isles, his athletic conditioning is such that his body constantly operates at peak physical performance. The mystical healing potion he ingested enhanced all of his metabolic functions, greatly increasing his strength, speed, reflexes, and stamina. He also possesses excellent hunting, foraging, and combative abilities.
