HISTORY
Mark Sanford was born and raised in the coastal town of Kingsport, MA. He attended Salem State and moved to Paragon City, RI, after graduation. He freelanced for the Paragon Times newspaper and was eventually hired full-time, covering capes and other sensational stories.
He was one source away from exposing a Council plot but the shadowy brain trust did their best to ensure he didn't: they ambushed him as he waited for his contact and left him for dead in a dark corner of Independence Port. Equally intrigued by the Council due to their alliance with the Nictus, a nearby Kheldian called Plerion sensed a kindred soul—a fierce determination for the pursuit of truth—in the dying human before it.
Without hesitation, the two merged to form the hero known as Silver Twilight.
Mark Sanford and Plerion's psyches are fully merged in Silver Twilight with neither vying for control nor asserting dominance over the other. He has no preference to his name, responding as easily to his Human or Kheldian ones or his Peacebringer moniker.
A relative infant by Kheldian lifespan standards, Plerion had previously never bonded with a host. As such, Silver Twilight has no Mefnamin or Kurukt forms and can only alter between Human and Kheldian.
He didn't expect a metallic mane but is resolutely committed to righting wrongs with his "azure flame".
BASE OF OPERATIONS
Dupont Tower
The Dupont Tower is a heritage skyscraper located in the northeastern section of the Steel Canyon neighborhood in Paragon City, RI. Given its age, the apartments are spacious but were constructed under liberal fire safety codes.
The residential complex was once the site of a turf war between the 5th Column and the Council that caused the building to collapse, resulting in multiple casualties. This prompted the intervention of the Menders of Ouroboros who altered the timeline to ensure the tower remained standing in accordance to the proper flow of time. In the wake of the fighting, the owners undertook a thorough retrofit.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Inherent
Kheldians naturally thrive off the energy and essence of their teammates: Peacebringers' metamorphic nature allows them to bring balance to their allies. Kheldians are also naturally gifted with the power of flight.
Luminous Blast
Masters of light, energy and matter, Peacebringers can manipulate Kheldian Light Energy to devastate their opponents. Their luminous blasts bombard their foes with awesome power that often knock down foes and can easily reduce a target's defenses.
Luminous Aura
Peacebringers can generate a luminous aura to grant themselves incredible defensive capabilities.
