"When her fire rises, shadows dance to her will. Her flames are not chaos - they're command." Selene Maren wasn't born with fire - she earned it.

History

A faculty researcher at Paragon University's School of Thaumaturgy, Selene specialized in ritual-based magic from the First Age of Cimerora. Her team unearthed a half-burned scroll that described The Ember Rite - a lost ceremony said to bind the essence of flame to a mortal soul, granting them control over the "Primordial Flame," the spark from which all life - and destruction - began.

But the rite was incomplete.

And Selene performed it anyway.

When the spell was cast, she didn't just summon fire - she merged with it. The explosion leveled the lab. Two of her colleagues were injured. And when the smoke cleared, Selene stood in the center of a perfect circle of ash - her body burning with magic that did not consume her.
