History
Daniel "Dan" Harper was a gifted acoustic engineer in Chicago, Illinois, fascinated by the raw potential of sound energy. While testing a groundbreaking sonic energy array designed to turn sound vibrations into clean, renewable power, a sudden overload engulfed him in a storm of concentrated harmonic waves. Instead of killing him, the resonance fused with his body on a molecular level, granting him the ability to manipulate sound in ways once thought impossible.
Relocating to Paragon City, Harper adopted the hero name Wave-Chord. Equipped with a custom-built sound-dampening suit and sonic-protective helmet, he now serves as one of Everlasting's most distinctive defenders, using his powers to fight crime, protect the innocent, and maintain harmony in the city.
