Her favorite spot was the churning coastline off Talos Island, where she and her crew would spend entire weekends chasing waves and outrunning storms. A meteorite—blazing with unearthly energy—broke through the clouds and slammed into the ocean just offshore. The impact was catastrophic, sending shockwaves and superheated water in every direction.
