Alice is the child of a long line of circus performers, animal handlers, and magicians. Her father taught her how to be a ringleader, her mother taught her how to care for animals, her grandmother taught her some very real magic tricks, and her grandfather told her stories of exploring ancient ruins and finding curiosities.
By the time she was born Alice's family was wealthy enough that her parents mostly just managed the circus, but her father did sometimes host the shows and Alice was expected to follow in his footsteps. Alice always loved the stories her grandparents told her of when the circus was more regularly traveling to different places.
As she matured she spent her time traveling on her own while studying magic and animal training. Upon her last return trip she discovered that her parents were murdered. She doesn't know who did it, but for now she believes the best thing she can do is use her powers for more than entertainment and keep things like this from happening to others.
She considered a secret identity, but after consulting with the P.P.D. it was decided that it would be easier to relocate her grandparents under witness protection, and let Alice draw any remaining attention directly towards her.
She's fairly recognizable as the once soon to be heir to the Krall circus. Her face was in the news a few times due to her family's fame, but once her parents were killed, much more attention was on her. She didn't give any interviews, and with management of her family circus being quietly handed to a friend of her father, the media eventually lost interest.
She genuinely enjoys that her new career as a hero allows her to travel the world and sometimes to other worlds. She loves meeting the wide variety of super people and learning about the different forces they wield. In her free time she studies relics, books, and anything else she's been able to hold onto from her adventures. She also plays with her many pets.
