Character History
Cornelia Kim is a young Rogue Isles native of mostly Korean ancestry. Her parents having been involved with a rebellion against Arachnos, she was orphaned as a child, and subsequently became a member of a gang of street urchins known as the Ice Rebels (no relation to the various hockey clubs also bearing that name). She doesn't remember much about her parents except for various life lessons they gave her, which caused her to be nicknamed the "Sage".
By the time Cornelia was 18, the Ice Rebels were becoming bolder. They seemingly began to hit it big when they successfully duped a group of Hellions. Furious, the somewhat older gangsters managed to sic Arachnos soldiers on the kids. The entire gang was wiped out except for Cornelia, whose mutant powers fully activated during the battle, giving her enhanced strength, a protective energy aura and literally yellow skin.
Now on her own, the logical path for Sage Cornelia to pursue was to take up work as a super-powered mercenary. A colleague, Volt Mistress, eventually invited her to her Supergroup, the Syndicate of Nitrovampires 2100; she accepted, reasoning that having allies was more important than her discomfort at their selfishness if not psychopathy.
