The Protectors League
The Protectors League is an RPSG on the Everlasting Server inspired by DC's Justice League (and all its variations) and Marvel's Avengers teams. We're a tight-nit community of popular media, gaming and comic book nerds who enjoy writing and sharing stories about our characters and the world they live in. We dabble in various themes that resemble MOST modern comic book/popular media storylines, and good ol' fashioned capes and tights shenanigans with just the right amount of goofiness to have a good time.
In the aftermath of a UN-backed mission gone awry, where thousands fell due to failure to authorize immediate action against a threat, Proudstar and several of her teammates took a stand. After weeks working on their own, they observed the city's cry for heroes in their absence, they felt a call to action coursing through their veins. Together, they forged a pact, vowing to form a new team untainted by bureaucracy or manipulation. Bound by a noble purpose, they pledged to be the beacon of hope, answering only to the righteous call for aid.
Recognizing the vital role that superheroes play in protecting humanity from various threats, The Protectors Foundation was established as a non-profit organization by philanthropists Thomas Worthington III and Hazel Merrick along with superhero-pop sensation Proudstar to provide financial, logistical, and legal support to The Protectors League, a team of extraordinary individuals dedicated to safeguarding the citizens of Paragon City and the world.
The purpose of the foundation is to ensure the league can focus on their duties without worrying about personal expenses or legal complications, allowing them to dedicate their full attention and resources towards protecting the world. The foundation is governed by a Board of Directors that consist of prominent figures whom share a deep commitment to upholding justice in the world and Paragon City. The board is made up of 9 members, including whomever is currently sitting as Chairperson of The Protectors League.
