Tae Geyeong Yeo was born in North Korea. He did not live under poverty for very long, as he was soon abducted by a oh-so-gracious Fae master who brought him home and raised him as her own. Tae was given the name 'One', as another changeling under her "care" was dubbed "Zero".
One and Zero were raised together as brothers. All they had was each other for comfort after their mistress' cruel beatings and rituals. They were sent together on various quests to retrieve artifacts - usually through extreme violent means. Forced to kill from a young age, the two changelings were shaped in her will.
The two became an unstoppable team in the Blood Bowl - a recurring gladiatorial event.
Dedicated to see the supposed Nirvana of the outside world, One grew tired of his imprisonment and slayed their cruel mistress alongside Zero. However, this did not come without a curse on the two. They were each slowly turned more and more monstrous. Zero was turned first, into a hulking beast.
The two escaped to the Fae Underground, a no-man's anarchic land underneath the Fae Wilds. It's something of a literal urban jungle - made of cities overgrown with greenery, inhabited by Changelings and other outcasts of Fae society such as goblins and ogres.
The two were adopted by a man named Cormac, another escaped Changeling.
Eccentric in nature, but very experienced in the ways of the Underground, the two agreed to flock underneath his wing and live in his home, full of other changelings. Zero was renamed to "Kier", and One to "Richter", having been told their old titles were 'nothing short of dreadful'. While Kier had accepted his new fate, Richter did not. Richter was dedicated to cure him by any means, and often rebelled against the house's judgement of not to venture too far into the Underground. While exploring, he heard the call of what sounded like a voice beckoning him from beyond the stars. As he would peel back the greenery of an abandoned statue, he would find a helmet sitting upon the head. For whatever reason, he was compelled to try the helmet on, and from there, his curse halted. As long as he wears the helmet, the curse will not progress. Though unfortunately, it has not cured him, and his search for a cure for him and Kier continued.
With his newfound relic, Richter ventured to the 'real world', to which he believed would be a paradise. Unfortunately, he would find the world war torn and rife with corruption. In his desire to be rid of the world's corruption and filth, Richter has since started up a thieves guild. Their ultimate treasure: the freedom of the world and its people. Richter's goal is to free the world's oppressed people and get rid of slavery and corporate corruption. He's been able to manipulate selfish mercenaries into assisting with his cause, while also joining forces with like-minded individuals. This is all under the banner of the 'Mavericks'.
Richter will do anything to protect the innocent people of the world. While some call him a hero, others have grown to know him only as a monster, or perhaps a fanatical judge.
