Young teenager Flora La Fleur had no idea that her love of gardening came from a special relationship she had inherited with plants. Thousands of years ago, her ancient ancestors were Gallic druids, who mated with the dryads of their sacred groves in order to breed the power of nature into their bloodline. Wiped out by the Roman conquests, the few who survived lost their power, but Flora's ability was awakened within her recently. Stumbling by accident into one of her prized rose bushes, plant sap mixed with her torn skin and blood, causing her to rapidly mutate into a plant being.
