Like many high schoolers, Clive Robertson was desperate to stand out from the crowd. He wasn't bad at sports or studies, but wasn't great at those things either. In the social circles of school, he was "the guy who was just there". Even kids who were bullied were at least part of the pecking order. He was a no one. All that changed one day when his neighbor, an old man who had just moved in next door, came to him with an idea. He said he could give Clive a super body, if he would let the old man try out his prototype "Handy Dandy, DIY Home Cyborg Kit" (pat. pending). Clive, being young and stupid, jumped at the chance. Unfortunately for him, the old man was a defector in hiding from the Council, and the tech kit was theirs! Clive woke up with a shoddy borg job, surrounded by enraged Council who had just killed the old guy. He grabbed a bag full of spare parts, and has been on the run since. | |||
