Rocket Robyn is an exceptional, unenhanced human whose abilities rival those of Olympic athletes.

Abilities

Contrary to what one might expect, Rocket Robyn possesses no superhuman powers. Her physical prowess, however, is comparable to that of an Olympic athlete, achieved through rigorous training and conditioning. Beyond this, she is an ordinary human being.

Proficiencies

Rocket Robyn's combat skills have been honed over several years of rigorous training, with instructions from various expert tutors, including the esteemed Citizen Thirteen. Her adaptive combat style shifts according to the situation at hand, making her a formidable opponent in any circumstance. Moreover, Robyn exhibits archery skills that surpass those of Olympic-standard archers. Her exceptional shots often lead observers to wrongly assume that she has metahuman abilities. Such prowess can even make ardent firearm enthusiasts question their weapon's superiority over the bow.

Gear

Bow

Rocket Robyn's bow may appear ordinary, but appearances can be deceiving. This piece of equipment combines high-performance outboard limbs with a precision cam and lever system, featuring a custom-machined aluminum riser. It delivers a smooth, constant draw, blending the feel of a recurve with the power and impact energy of a compound bow. It is indeed a regular bow, but in the hands of an extraordinary girl.

Armor

Robyn's armor is undeniably advanced. It features highly protective titanium plating, coupled with layers of Dyneema for the inner lining. An exoframe supports the legs, ensuring user safety while operating and landing from Rocket Robyn's signature rocket boots.

Arrows and Gadgets

As expected, Robyn has custom arrows suited to various situations. Her gear belt is akin to Mary Poppins's bag, filled with countless gadgets. These range from lockpicks, breaching charges, grappling hooks, zip ties, climbing spikes, and EMP grenades, to a taser, specialty arrowheads, and her trusty woobie. If you can think of a tool, it's probably nestled somewhere in that belt.

Backstory

Family

Robyn Sparks hails from a relatively affluent family. Tragically, her mother passed away when she was just five years old. Raised by her often-absent father and the household staff, Robyn yearned for her father's attention, leading her to act out during her childhood. When present, her father was doting but guilt-ridden, spoiling Robyn with lavish gifts to compensate for his frequent absences.

College Years

During her college years, Robyn was more focused on socializing than studying, resulting in popularity but poor academic performance. After dropping out, she spent several summers backpacking around Europe, immersing herself in different cultures. During an extended stay in Greece, she fell in love and spent several years with a member of the Greek Olympic Archery team, honing her archery skills.

Trials

When her father was imprisoned, Robyn was summoned back to Paragon City. Unbeknownst to her until the trial, her father was not a businessman, but a highly successful super-powered thief. Anticipating his capture, he had stashed the stolen wealth in a trust fund under Robyn's name, which she inherited at 21. Following her father's incarceration and the revelation of her newfound wealth, Robyn decided to invest the money in becoming a hero, using it to equip herself with an array of gadgets.
