She was rather instinctively drawn to the reactor. In a fit, she could only describe as a blackout, she smashed through several walls and hugged the reactor. Thankfully, nobody was injured. In fact, all the radiation that one might fear would be released, she absorbed. It took several years of study before she could redirect energy and use it for healing, on the rare occasion that the near invulnerability it provided her failed.
