Primrose Helena Cambridge was given a knighthood early on, called in by the Queen for her contributions to the British museum — both monetarily and materially — having single-handedly funded several exhibits that shone a light on the rich tapestry that makes up the history of Great Britain; her parents — Elizabeth and George — were both wealthy in their own right and Prim was able to benefit from both their windfalls and the knowledge that came with it. This led to many donations to the country overall, as Prim is a devout patriot for the United Kingdom and all it stands for, both past and future.
NAME: Her Ladyship Primrose Helena Cambridge
ALIASES: Dame Britain, Prim, Lena
BIRTHPLACE: Richmond upon Thames, UK
OCCUPATION: Leader of The Standard
BASE OF OPERATIONS: Global
AGE: 30
STATUS: Single
- ENCHANCED PHYSIOLOGY
Having been pushed beyond the limits of normal peak human performance, Prim has enhanced strength, stamina, agility, and durability, to name a few.
- SWORD & BOARD
The Secret Service of the British Nobles gifted Prim with a blade and sword made from a new alloy found on their many research trips into space and beyond; both are nigh-unbreakable and respond fluidly to her movements, almost as if they're alive.
It wasn't long after her knighthood that a man by the name of Samson Molin approached her ladyship, Prim. An unknown, but renowned in some circles, scholar and scientist, Samson began to tell Prim of a secret society working beneath the surface to use scientific exploration to expand the bounds of normal human means; he spoke of increasing attributes (strength, agility, etc) through these projects and wanted to offer Prim a chance to be a part of that and hopefully, one day, lead a group within the Secret Service of the British Nobles called the Standard — heroes that would one day make sure that the world was safe, even outside of their European bubble and bring glory again to the name of Britain.
Very little convincing was needed for Prim to sign up for the program, she seeming eager to get to work and offer her body up in service of her country — and in service of the world — in the hopes of making a difference. It took years of experiments, on and off, to get Prim to the peak of human conditioning and beyond — she was now stronger, faster, more durable and having seemingly boundless energy — and in that time she was trained with a sword and shield, a basis of which she had from her childhood in private school.
The Standard started as a dream, with the now dubbed Dame Britain as its figurehead and leader, but slowly grew into a force that worked in the shadows most of the time, but never quite shying from the spotlight either. The group's name is only spoken in whispers, but each of its members is lauded as a champion for their cause, showing that the world still has great power within its depths for those willing to put in the effort.
