Shift Enterprises™ (originally just Shift™) was created during the mass migration following Praetoria's fall at the hands of Emperor Cole, by the wealthy Praetorian Victor Allis. Privately founded as a humanitarian and logistical response, Shift quickly evolved into a multinational entity dedicated to providing essential services such as housing, employment, and legal documentation for reality-displaced individuals.
With widespread government support and funding from numerous world governments, Shift expanded rapidly across the globe. Its mission not only focused on resettling displaced populations but also on integrating them into their new societies, advocating for Praetorian rights, and gradually preparing Praetoria for repopulation.
Today, Shift has evolved into Shift Industries with subsidiaries in nearly every major field, which help secure additional funding beyond that provided by world governments. While still solely owned by its founder, Victor Allis, Shift has continued to evolve, assisting people from other dimensions besides Praetoria, and has recently expanded to aiding settlers from other planets in their transition to Earth. Throughout these endeavours, Shift remains committed to improving and fostering public relations among all involved groups.
