The Victoria Landsfeld Foundation

Description

A private foundation with its main office at One Statesman Plaza in Kallisti Wharf, whose primary goal is "disseminating knowledge through communication and cooperation".

It was created by retired superhero Jenny Herder, with Hana Yamada and Regina Landsfeld (whose late daughter the Foundation was named after) as its other officials.

It has offices in Paragon City, Marseilles, Rio de Janeiro, Kuala Lumpur, and Johannesburg.

In the United States, the Victoria Landsfeld Foundation is a duly-accredited charitable organization, i.e. is an organization operated for purposes that are beneficial to the public interest.

There are different types of charitable organizations. Every U.S. and foreign charity that qualifies as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is considered a "private foundation" unless it demonstrates to the IRS that it falls into another category. Generally, any organization that is not a private foundation (i.e., it qualifies as something else) is usually a public charity as described in Section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code.
