I tend to do my own thing, and teach those that WANT to learn. I have no bias or judgement towards anyone of different backgrounds or upbringing and I try to be open minded and compassionate to every person I meet in this game community. Everyone is unique, how the brain functions is individual rather than interconnected and it's something that many people don't quite understand or respect. Who you are, is who you are. There's no shades or hues in between, you are unique and every single day is a precious gift to cherish and make the best of. Don't place too much on your own shoulders, and remember that everyone is fighting their own individual internal wars, no matter how minor or small it may seem to you, it's huge to them and that's what matters most.
Notes
Hi, I am the host and organizer of Welcome Wagons Intro to RP classes for the Everlasting shard, and Volunteer RP community representative for Everlasting. If you have any questions about the shard community, or wish to learn more about roleplaying, feel free to reach out to me any time via global mail or leave me a message on the HC discord. You can reach me at @Crystal Dragon in-game globally, or you can message @CrystalDragon on the HC forum boards or discord. If I don't get back to you immediately, I may be delayed by a project in the works, or in conversation with someone and will get to you as quickly as I am able. I do one on one lessons and practicing, as well as host group classes twice a month on Friday/Saturday/Sunday with a workshop to assist with description writing, and character concepts as well as answering further questions our classes didn't touch on the Monday following the weekend class. Each class is an hour long roughly, and are hosted twice each evening for better access to newer players. Vets are invited to attend to share their own experiences and advice to the new players just starting out as well as to help mentors teach. We are always looking for volunteer mentors; players that have a long history with roleplaying experiences and willing to commit a few hours over the weekends we host to help us out. It's an important part of our community to teach what we know and share our experiences with our fellow players and gives the community a space to address problematic play styles and issues within the community both. We strive to create a judgement free zone to talk about RP in it's whole spectrum of aspects and hope to provide a safe space for everyone to enjoy their game time in styles they prefer.
In case anyone needs a guide/cheatsheet for wiki editing, I sure as heck did.
