In a desperate attempt to save their world and preserve their way of life, the royal family of Vrilkos made a deal with the Gorzog. In return for sparing their planet, the Vrilkans built them the Sun Breaker, a galactic weapon capable of causing a planet’s nearby star to rapidly go supernova and vaporize the planet. The Gorzog inevitably betrayed the Vrilkans and used the Sun Breaker on Vrilkos. The planet was destroyed, but their weapon was sabotaged.
