An artist is one who creates art as an outward expression to provoke both the senses and the minds of those who experience it. An important attribute of a true artist is creativity. Art can be tactile or sensory or both. Examples of artists include: painters, sculptors, poets, musicians, dancers, etc...

Please keep in mind that this category is not for characters who simply dabble in artistic crafts on a simplistic level. Examples of these non-artists include: construction workers, doodlers, cover-band musicians, and most American Idol contestants.
